During the autumn months, dressing for cold mornings and warmer afternoons can be quite the difficult task. If you dress too lightly, you risk shivering all the way to work, but if you pack on the layers, you might roast come noon.
If you want to nail transeasonal dressing by utilising both your summer and winter wardrobe at the same time, take your sartorial cues from Amanda Holden.
The TV star arrived fresh for work at Heart FM on Friday morning wearing a super chic autumnal outfit.
The mum-of-two shared a snap to her Instagram page wearing a bright green 1970 Bella Freud jumper and a navy skirt. Except, it wasn’t a skirt.
Amanda was actually wearing a sleeveless navy blue knitted Zara dress underneath her bold knitwear.
The A-line dress costs £49.99 and features a straight neckline and thin straps and can be worn either with or without a jacket, boots, trainers or heels.
Its flattering shape is designed to suit all shapes and sizes, and can be style with a waist belt for a more fitted look.
The 48-year-old completed her look with a green Bella Freud jumper and a pair of casual trainers.

It was inspired by the early New York punk scene in the 1970s and Patti Smith, and is reportedly a favourite of Kate Moss.
Amanda fans have already praised the look, with many commenting on her bold sweater.
One wrote: “Oh my goodness, I want that top. It’s the year I was born and my favourite colour to boot. You are rocking it xxx”
And another said: “Where did you get that top?!? I need it! I’m a 1970’s baby!”
