A 19-year-old Bristol Township man allegedly shared a video of a 15-year-old girl performing a sexual act on him, police said.
A Bristol Township man is accused of filming a teenager perform a sexual act and sending it to others through a messaging application, according to authorities.
Last month Bristol Township police filed charges alleging Branden Javon Smith, 19, recorded the incident and sent it to others when the 15-year-old girl would not repeat the act.
Smith, who remains in Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10% of $75,000 bail, is charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with someone younger than 16, disseminating film of child sex acts, possession of child pornography, all of which are felonies, as well as misdemeanor offenses of indecent assault and unlawful dissemination of an intimate image.
Police began investigating the incident in October, when a 13-year-old girl said she received the video of the incident through Snapchat, court documents state.
The victim told authorities she did not know she was being filmed, but found out after when the video was sent to her friends, according to police.
She told police that he sent the video out because she would not do it again, court documents state.
Police spoke to Smith and he initially denied having any sexual contact with her, but he later admitted it, court documents state.
The incident allegedly happened in an apartment in the 6700 block of Millcreek Road sometime between July and August.
Smith was arraigned on the charges Wednesday afternoon. He does not have an attorney listed.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 11 at District Judge Robert Wagner Jr.’s office.
