After report of crash, Taylor Swift reacts with ‘Getaway Automobile’ lyric | Richmond & Hopkinton

Taylor Swift is aware of all too effectively that “nothing good begins in a getaway automotive.” The 29-year-old pop star invoked the lyrics of her personal track, “Getaway Automobile,” in response to a police chase Tuesday that ended with a stolen automotive crashing into the gates of her beachfront dwelling on Bluff Avenue in Watch Hill.

A fan shared a put up from Leisure Tonight Canada in regards to the crash on Instagram Wednesday. Swift posted the lyric within the feedback part, together with a shrugging emoji.

The story originated with studies from the Hopkinton and Westerly police, revealed Wednesday in The Solar, that described the police pursuit, the crash, and the arrest of the driving force, a 19-year-old Hartford man.

As is the case with most incidents on the gate of her “summer time dwelling” involving would-be trespassers, Swift, an occasional customer, was not on the premises — nor, from an area perspective, would her presence be anticipated.  The 5-acre property, which is owned by Harbor Land Strategic Realty LLC, of Nashville, is just one piece within the singer’s intensive actual property portfolio, which incorporates homes and residences in Nasville, Beverly Hills, and in Manhattan, her major base of operations.

Swift recorded “Getaway Automobile” in 2017 for her “Repute” album and it was launched on Sept. 6 of final yr.
