An enormous gap two-thirds the scale of Manhattan has been found rising in an Antarctic glacier, signaling speedy ice decay that has shocked scientists. The cavity  measuring nearly 1,000 toes tall  is sufficiently big to have contained 14 billion tons of ice, and “most of that ice melted over the past three years,†NASA stated.
