Sport of Thrones actress Maisie Williams’ app reportedly raises $2.5M in funding

Maisie Williams’ app Daisie has reportedly hit 100,000 customers and raised $2.5 million from traders.

The artists’ collaboration app created by Sport of Thrones star Maisie Williams and movie producer Dom Santry has reportedly raised $2.5 million in seed funding and hit the 100,000 person milestone.

Daisie’s funding spherical was led by Founder’s Fund, which kicked in $1.5 million, TechCrunch reported on Monday. In whole, Daisie has now raised round $three million, the report mentioned.

Daisie is a social-networking type app-based neighborhood designed to “make it simpler and higher” for individuals to enter the artistic business and collaborate on initiatives, in response to Williams and Santry.

“Daisie is … offering creators with every part they should make their concepts occur,” the web site’s About web page says. “Nurturing contemporary visions, unimaginable collaborations, whole creativity and a various and constructive neighborhood.”

Its classes embody movie, music, trend, images, artwork, literature, design, make-up, digital, gaming, and stage.

Daisie’s 100,000 customers are primarily positioned in London, TechCrunch mentioned.

Daisie was formally launched earlier this month, on Could 8, after being launched in personal beta again in August 2018. Inside 24 hours, 35,000 creators had signed up for early entry.

It is out there on iOS and desktop.
