SINGAPORE — Co-working spaces have mushroomed over Singapore, with more people looking for flexible working spaces that are thoughtfully designed, to get their work done. There’s so much demand for such work spaces boasting of spacious workstations and a variety of themed meeting rooms. You can even hold networking events and sessions there. In fact, with meteoric real estate rentals in the city, many start-ups choose to work out of these spaces as well.
Yahoo Lifestyle Singapore sussed out a few new co-working spaces that sprouted up in the last few months.
SPACES One Raffles Place
Newly opened at One Raffles Place, the heart of the CBD area, SPACES has added its newest addition to the brand in the last month. It is less than a minute walk away from the MRT station. Nearby, members have easy access to diverse F&B options, retail hotspots, and other amenities. Similar to the other SPACES locations, this new space will come with professional interiors, plenty of shared spaces, and opportunities for members to network and connect.
Across four floors of this futuristic, angular workspace hub, you can choose from serviced offices and hot desk to rent, or hire meeting, conference and training rooms. It is the new hotspot for flexible working in Downtown Core, Singapore.

csuites at Paya Lebar Quarter
Lendlease set up their headquarters in a co-working space back in 2017, and now, the big property developer is setting up its own co-working space at Paya Lebar — csuites. This space will be part of a larger, mixed-use development cluster known as Paya Lebar Quarter.
The csuites co-working space alone will comprise a whopping 72,000 square feet, taking up two entire floors of the third office tower (PLQ3). As one of the first co-working spaces in Asia specifically catered to enterprises, this space has private offices for teams of 50 to 100 pax. These spaces are all fully-fitted, packed with ergonomic furniture, biophilic (a concept to integrate natural living things like vegetation) design elements, and more. We love the spaciousness and its design with the look and feel of a luxurious office.

This one caught our eye as it is not your typical run-of-the-mill co-working space in terms of design and ambience. Award-winning design studio and the name behind some of Singapore’s most celebrated spaces, Takenouchi Webb has collaborated with Cathay Organisation to create GATHER, a new co-working space. The focus was to create a softer workplace; through a neutral colour palette of earthy pinks, beiges, and light wood colours.
Maximised ceiling heights and optimised natural light create a spacious environment which lends itself to a productive, stress-free working day. We love how calm, elegant and inviting the new co-working space, recently launched in July 2019, is.
