While Alexander Kokorin and Pavel Mamaev in the colony they play football and try not to lose their shape; the owner of the Summa group, Ziyavudin Magomedov, also does not want to lose time in prison for nothing. The billionaire, who was arrested on charges of creating a criminal community, embezzlement and fraud, is ready to pay for the creation and equipment of the gym in the Lefortovo jail, where he sits.
Members of the public monitoring commission visited Magomedov, and he complained that most of the prisoners did not have access to two gym isolators. Due to lack of physical activity, their pain in the spine worsens and problems arise with the musculoskeletal system.
While doing exercises in the cell, I can’t restore my back,
– the businessman said to human rights activists.
According to Magomedov, one of his projects in Moscow left unused equipment. He is ready to transfer it to the isolation ward and pay for the construction of a gym that all prisoners could use.
His brother and accomplice Magomed Magomedov, who is contained in Lefortovo, are ready to support his proposal, former minister "Open Government" Mikhail Abyzov and former deputy director of the Federal Penitentiary Service Oleg Korshunov. Ironically, while Korshunov worked at the Federal Penitentiary Service, he rejected the complaints of the Lefortovo prisoners about the gym, and after the arrest, the first thing he noticed was the inability to play sports.
Recall that the Magomedov brothers were detained on March 30, 2018 and have since been under arrest. According to investigators, they stole from the budget more than 11 billion rubles (before it was about 2.5 billion). At the moment, the investigation of the Magomedovs is completed. They were extended the arrest until September 30. They do not admit their guilt.
