Plan to attend an informational session at Father Lynch Hall

Join Miss Oklahoma, Addison Price, Sept. 12, 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Father Lynch Hall at Eighth and Keeler in Bartlesville, for a her presentation about dyslexia. As a dyslexia learner, she shares her life’s journey and in empowering individuals with learning differences.

Also, Michelle Keiper, founder of Decoding Dyslexia-Oklahoma and chair of the State of Oklahoma’s Dyslexia Task Force will share common signs of dyslexia for parents and educators and their resources.

A panel of educators will discuss Peak, Promise To At Risk Students

An Educators Panel ‘Updates on Educators’ — Women’s Network Meeting is planned for 6:30 p.m. social time; 7 p.m. program Sept. 5 at the Bartlesville Public Library on the second floor. There will be a discussion of classroom needs, Peak’s education progress with legislators and the Promise To At Risk Students program. Speakers will be Dan Droege, Gail Stone, Heather Davis, Heather Boyle and Vanessa Drummond.

A fundraiser for The Journey Home will be held Sept. 7

Bartlesville Masonic Lodge benefit breakfast for The Journey Home will be held from 7-11 a.m. Sept. 7. The Journey Home is a local charity that provides continuous care in a spacious, welcoming home for terminally ill citizens in their last days. A fundraiser to benefit the Civitan Club scheduled for Sept. 7
