Singapore Airlines (SIA) is partnering with Singapore-based wellness brand COMO Shambhala to create a line-up of “wellness dishes” that will launch on selected flights from this month onwards.
The menu focuses on healthy recipes that aim to nourish the body, reduce travel-related stresses, boost immunity, and aid digestion — all to give travelers a more comfortable time on board. Besides using ingredients like kiwi, beetroot, and strawberries for antioxidants and micronutrients, the creations will also be high in fibre and vitamins.
They will be available for First Class and Business Class customers on flights from Singapore to Hong Kong, Frankfurt, London, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney, or you can pre-order them if you’re on Premium Economy, Business, or First Class on all routes departing Singapore.
Dishes for the first category include sweet corn and young coconut soup, coconut poached fish, and poached chicken salad.
For the pre-booking meals, you can choose from the likes of red rice and fish porridge or puy lentil, zucchini, and ricotta lasagne (First/Business Class), as well as spiced buckwheat and pumpkin pancakes or coconut and chia pudding (Premium Economy).
