At least 87 people have died after flooding and landslides hit the southwest of Japan. Rains began late last week and intensified over the weekend. An additional 13 people have since died from cardiac arrests — raising the death toll to 100. With emergency rain warnings lifted, the country is now turning its focus to search and rescue efforts.
