Don’t take my word for it, or anybody’s word when they tell you to eat something. Just do the research and see if it fits your health & fitness goals. Example: chocolate. It’s not the chocolate milk that’s great for you after working out, it’s a key nutrient found in cocoa that can be great: epicatechin. It’s believed to widen blood vessels to increase blood flow, which can be key to a speedy recovery & to help oxygen get to those muscles. Why do a lot of people choose chocolate milk as the form for consumption? Protein, sugars, or it’s just what they were told. Like I said, do your own research. ➡️ These are just a few of my favorite things for a post workout shake.
