Blount County property taxes for 2019 are now payable.
Payment may be made by mail or in person at the county Trusteeâ€™s Office in the courthouse; by check only at the County Clerkâ€™s Office at Foothills Mall and the drive-thru location next to the library; via the internet at www.blountcountytrustee.com; or at BB&T, CBBC, First Century, First Tennessee, Home Federal, Renasant, Simmons Bank, SmartBank, SunTrust, TnBank, US Bank and United Community Bank. Customers must have their tax notices when making payment.
The county offers a 2% discount for payment in October and a 1% discount for payment in November (discounts are reflected on the invoices). Information about the Tax Freeze Program and the State Tax Relief Program is on the tax notice and at www.blountcountytrustee.com.
