38-year-old Meghan Markle is often accused of the fact that she neglects royal etiquette. Many were previously embarrassed by the fact that the American would become a member of the family of British monarchs. But Megan responsibly prepared for her new status. At least she made an effort not to blunder at the same table with the queen.
Before her the wedding with Prince Harry, the press made mention that Megan was taking etiquette lessons. Now her California etiquette teacher Edmund Fry told reporters some details of the first meeting with the future duchess.
Born in the UK, Fry moved to the United States to teach Americans good manners and created a real corner of England in the sunny state – Rose Tree Cottage School, where traditional tea parties are held.
Fry said that before moving to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, who was still the future Duchess of Sussex, also turned to him.
The younger generation does not know what porcelain is, and certainly does not know how to handle a cup and saucer or how to handle a knife and fork. They come to us mainly to find out: "What should we do when we find ourselves at a social event?" Megan was in a similar situation, she knew that she would have a tea party with the queen,
– told Fray Daily Mail reporters.

Etiquette expert taught Markle a two-hour lesson (by the way, anonymous – Megan didn’t register under her name, the lesson was booked by one of her friends), after which the bride of Prince Harry seemed to not only learn the subtleties of behavior at the table, but also was imbued with sincere sympathy to England.
I think she was not particularly enthusiastic about England before that. But she fell in love with this country when she ended up in Rose Tree Cottage. She liked it so much that she wanted to continue her studies, – Not without a share of boasting, said Fry.
It seems that after a while the etiquette expert decided to add new details, because earlier, on the eve of the wedding of Megan and Harry, he had already met with reporters. This happened after the royal biographer Andrew Morton said that Markle took etiquette lessons.
She was very sweet, very polite, she was beautifully dressed, and she was very helpful with people. She really liked the butterscotch and she even protruded her little finger protruding when she took the cup. I think she will fit perfectly into the royal family,
