Deepika Padukone is Bollywood’s sweetheart. She is loved for her grace, winsome charm, and adorable love for memes. Recently, the actress addressed a crowd at an event for her foundation Live, Love, Laugh and had a little faux-pas.
In the video, Deepika says, “I am a daughter, I am a sister, I am an actor,” which is when the host interrupts her and asks, “A wife?” Deepika laughs and says, “I am a wife, oh God, I forgot!”
Deepika’s Live, Love, Laugh works towards the cause of depression and encourages people to come and talk about their battle with depression.
Ranveer and Deepika’s romance bloomed on the sets of their film Goliyon Ke Rasleela Ram Leela.
After dating for over six years, the couple got married last November, after following Konkani as well as Sindhi rituals.
In an exclusive interview to India Today Magazine, Ranveer revealed that it was his decision to move into Deepika’s home after marriage. “I’ve grown up seeing a marriage where the attitude is to make it work regardless of anything. A marriage is a commitment, out is not an option. So whatever you have to work through, you do. The most sensible and convenient thing was for me to move into her set-up. She is comfortable there and I don’t want to displace her. I always try to give her priority.”
Much to the excitement of fans, the two would be seen together in Kabir Khan’s 83. While Ranveer plays the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, Deepika will play the role of his wife, Romi Bhatia. The film will hit the screens on April 10, 2020.
