The International Emmys recognise excellence in television produced outside of the United States and US Primetime programs produced in languages other than English. The awards are traditionally announced after the main Emmy awards each year. The main Emmy winners will be announced on 22 Sept this year, while the International Emmy awards will be announced on 25 Nov in New York.

“The diversity, geographic spread and quality of this year’s Nominees is a testament to the increasing wealth of outstanding television being created on a global scale,” said Bruce L. Paisner, President and CEO of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
