Did Salman Khan Refuse To Do No Entry Sequel Due To Malaika Arora And Arjun Kapoor?

It was just on the day before that Salman Khan’s ‘Wanted’ marked 10 years of its release. The actor’s fans took to social media to celebrate the occasion. This was the very film that brought back Salman Khan into the limelight yet again. Before Wanted there was a phase when none of the films were working. It was with Wanted that Salman Khan was back in the game and how! “Wanted” marked the inception of Prabhu Deva into Bollywood as a director while Boney Kapoor produced the film. The film was a huge success and brought back Salman Khan’s career right back on track! Now on the occasion of the film’s 10 years, fans expected the film to have a sequel.

Another Salman Khan comedy film was supposed to have a sequel and that’s No Entry! Well, for a long time there were speculations about the No Entry sequel happening. Boney Kapoor roped in Anees Bazmee who helmed the original film to direct the sequel as well. Salman too had agreed to do the film.

The signing amount was apparently paid to Anees and Salman. According to media reports, it all started just after the success of Wanted, when Boney Kapoor signed Salman Khan for No Entry sequel and even paid the signing amount to Anees and Salman and both Anees and Salman committed to the film but things changed when Arjun Kapoor started dating Malaika Arora and Salman refused to be part of the sequel. This happened two years ago and from then there is no news of the film.

Personal equations and relationships are a big driving factor in Bollywood and it is no secret. Now, because Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor are close to each other and Malaika has divorced Arbaaz, Salman is now giving cold shoulders to his father by shelving the sequel.

What is surprising is, during the launch of Bigg Boss 13, Salman had announced that he is going to be a part of No Entry sequel. He even claimed that he had loved the script of the sequel at Anil Kapoor’s birthday bash and therefore it’s even stranger that things have taken a different turn this fast!
