The eldest daughter of a 48-year-old Evan McGregor, 23-year-old Clara, made an unexpected ad on Instagram. The girl wrote a long post in which she admitted that since childhood she suffers from mental health problems. Clara also talked about the fact that at some point in her life she took a large number of antidepressants, which she developed drug addiction.
I want to talk about mental health. For a long time, I was ashamed to tell even close friends about this. From the age of four, I suffered from panic attacks and anxiety. I did not know that there is a way to become better, but it really is. Therapy and psychoanalysis helped me. I worked on myself and continue to do so to this day. It was a cage from which I could not get out.
I took antidepressants and struggled with drug dependence and now I can proudly say that I have been living without pills for more than 110 days. Now I'm regaining my strength
– told model.
Clara admitted that for a long time she could not talk about her problems openly. Due to problems with mental health, the girl admitted abuse from men and disrespectful attitude to herself:
I was ashamed of the fact that I allowed men to insult myself, for bruises under my eyes, for the harassment and violence that I suffered from.
The eldest daughter of Evan McGregor also said that last year was especially difficult for her: the girl struggled with drug dependence, had a toxic relationship and had an abortion.
Clara and Evan McGregor
Thanks to those who helped me in the most difficult times. Help yourself so that others can help you. And never be ashamed to talk about it,
– McGregor gave advice to her subscribers.
Recall that at the beginning of the year, Clara publicly insulted his star father. The girl was seriously worried about the divorce of her parents (Evan gone from Klara’s mother Yves Mavrakis to her colleague on the series Fargo Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and did not miss the opportunity to release the caustic comments about her father. Once the model put a picture of her mother in a bikini, in the comments under which she indirectly mentioned McGregor.
I'd rather keep her away from the assholes who throw goddesses like my mother,
– Clara wrote in response to the subscriber, who jokingly advised her to protect her mother from her peers.
True, later the girl nevertheless apologized to her father, admitted that she loved him and sincerely wished him happiness, and also noted that they were incredibly close to him.
