Polka dots for days

At this point, Deepika Padukone needs no introduction. She is the highest-paid Indian actress, who has managed to go global, all while sporting effortless stylish looks. And the Bollywood beauty striked again, turning heads at the Mumbai Film Festival in her polk-dot look.

Last year, the XXX: Return of Xander Cage actress was named the chairperson of the Mumbai Film Festival. Yesterday, she attended the opening of the 21st edition of the film festival, looking as elegant as ever in a dress by Dubai-based Egyptian designer Marmar Halim.

Deepika rocked a retro polka-dot gown, which featured a one-shoulder cut, a tight-fitting waist and a voluminous flare. The 33-year-old let her black and blue ensemble do all the talking, opting for simple and minimal makeup and accessories.

Elegant, gritty and beautiful Deepika arrived in Bollywood starring with Shahrukh Khan in the Farah Khan movie, Om Shanti Om, and has never looked back. With awards under her belt she has lots of Bollywood hits such as Piku, Bajirao Mastani and Padmavat to name a few.

Not only that, but the actresses flair and style also gets the recognition that it deserves. Earlier this month, Deepika was named among the Business of Fashion power list, the BoF500. She was also on the top of the list for YouGov’s most admired women globally.
