Sara Ali Khan made it clear that she is here to stay right with the release of her first film Kedarnath. The actress proved the same in Simmba with a small but significant role.
Sara, a history and political science graduate from Columbia University, wanted to become an actress since her childhood. She shared a glimpse of the same in her latest Instagram post.
Sara posted childhood pictures of herself dressed up in traditional attire, posing for the camera. She captioned the picture saying, “Waiting for my shot since 2000 #apnatimeayega #tbt #sarakadrama.”
In an earlier interview, Sara revealed how she always wanted to become an actress but choose to focus on studies as she was nerdy. She said, “Firstly, I was really fat and secondly, I was very nerdy, and the combination meant that I shouldn’t be acting. So I used to keep studying.”
When asked if acting was her first career choice, she said, ”When I finished the tenth grade, I was almost convinced that I wanted to do medicine. But the thing is that I have a mild tremor problem and I realised that I can’t do surgery.” ”So, I decided to do law and I studied History and Political Science. But then in my last year, I did an acting course,” Sara Ali Khan added.
When Sara and Saif Ali Khan appeared on Koffee With Karan, the director showed an old clip of Sara from college on the show. In the clip, the actress was seen dancing to Tu Tu Hai Wahi. On the show, Sara revealed that she weighed 96 kg in college.
Sara has come a long way since then. The actress is bagging all the big projects. She is currently awaiting the release of Imtiaz Ali’s Aaj Kal and David Dhawan’s Coolie No 1.
