The main topics of her work are sexism and gender inequality. About 30 works by Cornelie Tollens from the new Deep Inside series, inspired by a quote from the famous English artist and poet Robert Montgomery, were brought to RuArts ("Forgotten magic lies in the silence of your bones and eyes and waits for the fire to break out.") Created specifically for the Moscow exhibition, this series refers to early Dutch painting and Dutch still life of the 17th century.
