new Delhi. The government made it clear in parliament on Friday that our plan is to promote public private partnership. But, in any case government institutions will not be privatized. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said – Railway can not be privatized. So this question does not arise.
Goyal said – The truth is that if we want to improve the railway facilities, then there is a need for capital. We have to increase its capital capacity. The PPP model will be implemented in many projects. Some units will definitely be handed over to the corporate, but the Congress is throwing gambling tears on it. It had started from their time.
'Some projects will start on PPP lines'
Goyal said- We need investment to enhance the facilities. We have decided that some projects will include public private partnerships. Some units will also have corporateization. Keeping in mind the national interest, we will start new projects to bring some new tracks. For this we will invite investment.
'First Railway Budget was the Way of Political Advantage'
Goyal said – In the earlier times, the use of the Railway Budget was used solely for political gains. It was such a budget that was not only made for political reasons, but its purpose also had to mislead the country and the parliamentarians. Hundreds of trains and tracks were announced only to win elections.
'Modi gave vision'
According to Goyal – Prime Minister Modi ending the separate railway budget. They gave new vision and mission to the railway. In the reign of UPA, no coach was produced in Rae Bareli's Modern Coach Factory. But after coming to power in the BJP, it became the first coach in August 2014.
