Washington. State Bank of India's Managing Director Anshula Kant has been appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of the World Bank. Bank President David Malpas announced this on Friday. World Bank Group's financial and risk management will be the responsibility of CFO Kant.
President Malpas said – I am very happy to appoint Anshula Kant as the World Bank's MD and CFO. Anshula has 35 years of experience in finance, banking. He is known for using better technique as CFO in State Bank of India. They are skilled at meeting the challenges of leadership. They will handle operations like risk, treasury, funding.
Malpas said – MD Kant Risk Management will handle
Malpas said – I welcome him. My team and my team are ready to work with them. We all will help them get better output. According to Malpas, CFO will work closely with World Bank CEO in terms of Risk Management and Financial Reporting.
MD Kant Lady is a Graduate in Economic Honors with Shri Ram College for Women. He has graduated from the Delhi School of Economics Post Graduation in Economics.
