Tribal Minister Govind Gaude has assured that Government will issue 10 Sanads every month. The Minister has stated that currently there are 1064 applicants who have applied for sanad, however only 30 percent will be issued sanad.
Gaude was addressing a one day workshop on scheduled castes & scheduled tribes forest Rights Act 2006
Gaude has disclosed that he has director only crystal clear cases should be expedited and further decision should be taken on them, which is not in practice.
He has planned to call a meeting of all deputy collectors, Mamlatdars and both collectors within 20 days.
Gaude has also warned all Govt servants to submit forest rights review cases within 20 days, failing which action would be taken. The Minister has stated that if Govt officers have any family related issue, they should leave their jobs and stay at home.
