Political breakthrough in Karnataka
Karnataka has been witnessing heavy political upheaval in the last two weeks. 16 MLAs of JDS-Congress resigned from the first position and then went to the Supreme Court, referring to the speaker's delay in accepting it. In this case, two cases have been heard in the Supreme Court and the next hearing will be held on Tuesday. The Supreme Court had asked to maintain status quo in the case of Karnataka. In such a situation, the speaker can neither accept the resignation of any legislator nor disqualify them.
