Farmers are afraid of border areas of Banaskantha district that when the locusts will emerge from the eggs, they will ruin their crop. However, the farmers have now got relief from the locust swarm because the government sent teams to know about it. Officers of the Central Team and District Agriculture Department are engaged in the control of locust control for the villages of Waw and Suigam talukas. This team sprayed the pesticides with a total area of 400 hectares. Many locusts died due to these pesticides, but the egg was not eliminated.
