new Delhi. In the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has adopted a tough stand on the presence of MPs. He said there is no excuse for being absent from the Parliament during the session. Everyone is required to be present in the Parliament. The Prime Minister has also asked the list of ministers missing from parliamentary duty till evening. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi gave this information after the meeting ended. In the meeting of the parliamentary party, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar were also present.
MPs decide that government schemes reach the common people
Joshi said that the Prime Minister has instructed the MPs to join the people directly. He also asked the MPs to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reached every citizen. Joshi said that the goal of eliminating TB in the world is 2030, but the Prime Minister wants to free TB from the country till 2025. He instructed the MPs to work in this direction.
MPs join social work with political
During the interaction with the reporters, Joshi said that the prime minister also asked the MPs to withdraw from politics to join social work. He said that MPs should work with the authorities to work for the government's plans to reach the masses.
Earlier on July 14, the BJP had told its Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs that they were essentially present while giving information about the meeting.
