new Delhi. The panel led by Kapil Dev has been entrusted with the responsibility of selecting the new coach of the Indian cricket team. But the final decision in this case will be taken only after hearing in the Supreme Court. The last date for sending applications for coaching is July 30. The Committee of Administrators (COA) had sought directions from the court about the continuation of the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC). It includes Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman.

However, no directive was given about the CAC from the court. In such a situation, the COA may not even go to any option. But if the Kapil-led panel selects the National Coach, then this step can be seen as a collision of the panel set up by the Supreme Court.

Panel not formed before next hearing

One thing is certain that no panel will be formed before the next hearing. Former captain Kapil Dev, Anshuman Gaekwad and Shanta Rangaswamy, who were included in the Ed-Hawk body earlier, W.V. as the coach of the women's cricket team. Raman was appointed.

Lieutenant General Ravi Thorge was inducted in February But still the situation is not clear about the conflict between interests of CoA and CAC. Although Tendulkar has clarified his stand in this matter, Ganguly and Laxman have been asked to choose any single responsibility according to the BCCI constitution.

BCCI seek applications for coaching staff

The COA has to decide on this matter for the time being. According to the new constitution of the BCCI, such a matter can rise up against Kapil Dev and Rangaswamy. They have also been given the responsibility of choosing players. The BCCI invited applications for support staff for the men's team on Tuesday. This includes the head coach's post. Applicants should be less than 60 years of age. In international cricket, he should have less than two years of experience.
