Order to consider punishment given to Pakistan
ICJ official Rima Umar tweeted on the whole issue and explained in detail. He told that the ICJ has given the decision in favor of India. The court has upheld the authority of Jadhav's counselor access and told him its fundamental right. The court has ordered Pakistan to reconsider its decision of death sentence. Jadhav, who retired from the rank of Commander from Indian Navy, was sentenced to death by Pakistan in April 2017.
Will not be punished for hanging
Although the court has refused to accept Jadhav's demand for the release of India, the cancellation of the judgment of the military court, and his safe India release. What was India's demand for ICJ
India appealed to ICJ under five points. India had also demanded release of counselor, death penalty, non-judicial trial in civil court, fair trial for them, besides arranging a legal representative for them and release of Jadhav. Pak has kept Jadhav in an unknown place.
