The Supreme Court has completed the hearing on the petitions of Karnataka Assembly Speaker K R Ramesh Kumar and 15 rebel MLAs of Congress-JDS on Tuesday.
The court had reserved the decision after listening to the arguments of both sides, which will be heard on Wednesday at 10.30.
The rebel MLAs have demanded from the Supreme Court to direct the Speaker to accept his resignations, while the Speaker has demanded the withdrawal of the order from the court to maintain the status quo.
Also, the speaker requested the court to give him time till Wednesday to decide on the resignations and commissioning of the rebel legislators.
PM asks for list of missing MPs in parliament
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday expressed dissatisfaction over the absence of Union ministers in Parliament.

The National Investigation Agency (Amendment) Bill has passed from the Lok Sabha on Monday.
278 votes were cast in favor of the proposal, while six votes were against it. All amendment proposals brought on the bill were rejected.
