Chennai. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman called Saturday's briefcase as a symbol of corruption. He said – The tradition of bringing a budget in suitcases is the identity of the Congress government's previous corruption. The suitcase shows something to give-something. Modi government's government is not a suitcase government.
This year, Sitharaman had reached the Parliament by taking the red dress in the budget. This was the first time that when a finance minister used red clothes instead of a briefcase for the budget document.

Earlier, Finance Minister Sitharaman addressed the International Business Conference. He said – I do not like a briefcase or suitcase. This practice has been running since the British era. That's why I started the red dress that displayed the Indian tradition. Sitharaman presented the first budget of the second term of the Modi government in the Lok Sabha on July 5.
