  1. Great points. Anyone who thinks they can hide the true use of their vehicle will regret that choice several million times over if they're ever involved in an accident even if they're not at fault. Same goes for rideshare drivers. Once I get my CDL, I hope I remember to drop your name at Horizon.

  2. With the current laws, it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to run RV delivery now! I mean, it already pays low…like 'commercial trucking' low…$30-$40k annually…owner operator I've heard your numbers, but I know three that haul RV's out of Michiana and NO ONE makes anything near the numbers you've mentioned in other videos…and they are running owner-operator with pretty-full scheduling. After trucks, maintenance, fees, fines, operations and insurance…I understand NONE of them are breaking $50k net a year (assuming the truck write-off as 'equipment'). The ELD was really the 'straw that broke the camel's back for most of them, too…because depending on how you are 'set up', if you stay on the ELD on the deadhead back, you are KILLING yourself on time to pick up more loads…so either you run 'Class D' in your 4-wheeler to return, or you run Class A and take your breaks and sleep times per ELD requirements.
This absolutely pushes you over to HOTSHOTTING vs RV Delivery, when you start to factor in pay-per-mile and all that deadheading…You have GOT to be SHREDDED by all those unlaiden miles…and then to discuss 'unlaiden insurance'? Sorry…you are a CONTRACTOR…not an EMPLOYEE…and if you are not under 'company load', you aren't working…so ride the 'private insurance', log off the ELD, and get back FASTER!

  3. DO YOU RECOMMEND HORIZON FOR A PART TIME GIG?  I AM ESTIMATING  1 HAUL PER MONTH FROM INDIANA TO THE MIDWEST APPROX 1200/1400 MILES….I HAVE A TRUCK ALREADY PAID FOR WITH NO OVER HEAD EXPENSES SUCH AS THAT….JUST LOOKING TO MAKE AN EXTRA GRAND A MONTH TO PAY DOWN SOME OTHER DEBTS.

  4. +Manny-Life of an RV Transporter – Hey Manny, I really appreciate your channel and all your clogging you've done. I am in the process of signing up with Horizon and an gleaning off of your experience. Thank you for sharing brother!
