The Radio and Journalism team supports and encourages the Culture and Traditions of the Mother Earth of Brazil.

Porto Seguro / Bahia: The Traditional Festival of Iemanjá promoted by the Cultural Group Africanidade, was marked by Faith, Joy and Emotion.
The seventh Iemanjá Promenade promoted by the Cultural Group Africanidade and partners, which traditionally happen on February 2, was marked by faith, joy and emotion.
During the Tour faithful, devotees or sympathizers will pay promises and graces achieved during the year.

Because of all this influence, many cities in Brazil, especially Salvador, in Bahia, determined a holiday in his honor. February 2, every year, the Iemanjá Festival is celebrated.

Despite being a party that gathers crowds, it is not a national holiday. Few states celebrate this date. It is a tradition more present in the cities of the Brazilian coast.

Annually, faithful gather on the beaches (mainly Bahia and Rio de Janeiro) to celebrate the Iemanjá Festival dressed in white, carrying their offerings that are offered the queen of the sea, always accompanied by a request or thanks.
