Sidhu, out of government bungalow
Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Saturday sent Sidhu's resignation and sent it to the governor. It is noteworthy that after resigning from the cabinet minister of Punjab, he was constantly cutting off the media. On Sunday, he tweeted that he has left his government bungalow. He wrote on Twitter, "The minister has vacated the bungalow, it has handed it over to the Punjab government."
Earlier, the Chief Minister had accepted the resignation of his 'One Line' and sent it to Punjab Governor VP Singh Badyanaur for approval. Later the Governor also accepted him. Indeed, Sidhu himself had come under the scanner, when he fled on the new department for several days, after disclosing on Twitter that he had sent his resignation to Rahul Gandhi. He was then asked what it means to send resignation to Rahul, while he is on a constitutional post and is working under Chief Minister Amarinder Singh. Then he sent his resignation to CM.
Even after the formation of the Congress government in Punjab, Sidhu was seen trying to hit the chief minister. However, when Captain changed his post after the Lok Sabha election, Sidhu's anger got out of his way and he refused to accept the new post. He was very upset with the local government and the department of tourism and culture affairs, and was dillying around to return to the same department in the Delhi court. However, CM handed over the responsibility of the Department of Electricity and New and Renewable Energy to him. Due to Sidhu's attitude, the Punjab government was becoming very weak. Then there was a fear that if Sidhu did not join his department now, Captain could sack him from the Cabinet. According to reports, Sidhu sent his resignation to the Chief Minister under the rules.
