new Delhi: In the Rajya Sabha on Monday, the Human Rights Protection Bill Bill 2019 has been passed. After the day-long proceeding on Monday, the Upper House passed it. This Bill has been brought by the Modi Government to make the National Human Rights Commission and State Human Rights Commissions more efficient. Earlier this bill was approved in the Lok Sabha on July 19.
Earlier, Home Minister Amit Shah said on the proposal of Human Rights Protection Research brought to the Rajya Sabha that if the Chief Justice does not get the Chief Justice, on the appointment of the judge, who will accept this post if the justice is not available. He further said that there is no difference between Chief Justice and Justice and there is no difference between both the rights. Shah said that the term has been reduced from five to three years because there is a provision of age and can not take the judge over a certain age. In the same Lok Sabha, the Right to Information Bill (Amendment) Bill, passed on Monday, 2019. Despite the opposition to the opposition in the Lok Sabha, the bill was passed. According to the revised bill, the terms and conditions of salary, allowances and service of Chief Information Commissioner and Information Commissioners and State Chief Information Commissioner and State Information Commissioners will be decided by the Central Government. So far the salary of Chief Information Commissioner and Information Commissioners is equivalent to the Chief Election Commissioner and Election Commissioners.
