New Delhi: England's legendary and former captain Graham Gooch Tuesday is going to be 66 years old. Gooch is also known for his controversial batting besides many controversies. Graham Gooch was out for zero in both innings in his first Test match. He started his Test career against Australia on July 10, 1975 at the age of 22. After that he could not return to the English team for three years. He was caught by Max Walker in the first innings and Jeff Thomson in the second in the hands of wicketkeeper Road Marsh. England lost one innings and 85 runs in this match.
The 333 runs in the Lord's innings
The name of Gooch is the record of making the biggest private innings of most 333 runs for England. The most special thing is that Lord's has not yet broken any record of English batsmen.
