Manu to study political science
Star player will study graduate in Political Science, at 17-year-old Bhakeer College. The Sports Authority of India on Tuesday congratulated Manu Bhakr on Twitter and said, "Best wishes to young champion shooter Manu Bhaker on getting admission in Lady Shri Ram, the prestigious college of Delhi University to study political science."
Rules of the University of Delhi
According to the rules of Delhi University, direct admission will be given to the players who represent India in accredited and funded competitions of Sports Ministry without trial. Contests under this category include the Olympics, World Championships and Asian Games.
Manu has 17 years of Olympic quota
In the ISSF World Cup Women's 10 meter air pistol event, Manu won the seventh Olympic quota for shooting for India. Manu, 17, won the Olympic Kota with 201.0 points in the final.
