Bengaluru After discussing the confidence motion in the Karnataka Assembly, the Kumaraswamy Government failed to get confidence vote in the Floor Test. Chief Minister Kumaraswamy could not prove his majority. 99 votes were cast in favor of the government, while 105 votes were cast in opposition. After the fall of the government, BJP MLAs congratulated BS Yedurappa.
The Congress-JDS government has a tenure of around 14 months in the state. Earlier in the discussion on the confidence motion, CM HD Kumaraswamy had said that I am happy to leave this post even happily. He said that in politics I came suddenly and unexpectedly.

After the fall of the Kumaraswamy government, Karnataka BJP wrote on Twitter, the game of action. The party wrote in the next tweet that it is the victory of the people of Karnataka. Talking to the media after the fall of the government, Congress leader HK Patil said that Congress-JD (S) coalition failed to get confidence vote. This defeat is due to the betrayal of our party MLAs. We have come under the influence of various things. I will not tolerate the betrayal of the people of Karnataka with the party.
