- NIA took action against trader Ghulam Ahmad Wani in connection with Terror funding

Srinagar. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday raided the business locations of Jammu and Kashmir in the Terror Funding case. According to sources, action was taken against the trader Ghulam Ahmed Wani alias Burdana regarding the case related to tire funding. The NIA took action while sealing the house of Bardana.
Bardana's son Tanvir Ahmed was a former separatist He said that the NIA raided his shop at Parimpora Fruit Market in Srinagar. The NIA team also reached home with the security forces and state police officers. According to sources, the NIA and ED have arrested more than 24 separatist leaders and traders from the Kashmir Valley in the Terror Funding case.
Bardana does business between Srinagar and POK
Bardana is the sole trader on the LoC (LOC), which does business between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad. Muzaffarabad is the capital of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK). On February 14, after the fidayeen attack on CRPF convoy in Pulwama, the trade was closed from here on 8th March.
From this day, caravan-e-Aman bus, which was run between PoK and Srinagar, was also closed. 44 CRPF jawans were martyred in the Pulwama attack. The responsibility of the attack was taken by terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed.
