Three New iPhone 11 Fashions Arriving in 2019, In response to Report

A new report coming in from 9to5Mac states that Apple is working on releasing three new iPhone 11 models this year, slated to make an appearance sometime in September. This information comes via people who are familiar with the matter and have seen the devices themselves, the report says.

The phones will have the Apple A13 chipset under the hood, which is known internally under the name Cebu, model T8030. The handsets will allegedly feature a Lightning port as well – a piece of information that comes as a bit of a surprise, considering the iPad Pro moved to USB-C in 2018.

The iPhone 11 line will have OLED Retina displays as well as something called ‘leap haptics’, an Apple-developed Taptic Engine that might improve Haptic Touch. However, it might prove to be something completely different. We do know that the upcoming devices will not feature the same 3D Touch that we are familiar with today.

Meanwhile, the cameras on the devices will be hosted in a square housing – some of you might have seen the (yet not officially confirmed) images that have been floating around of the back of the handsets. The square camera housing is still a pretty hot topic among iPhone aficionados. Bloomberg also reported that a sensor capable of capturing wide-angle images will also be present.

This particular sensor will come with a Smart Frame feature which will allow the users to adjust the framing, create an automatic perspective or crop corrections.

Not a lot of information on the selfie camera for now: allegedly, the iPhone 11 line will arrive with slow motion recording capabilities at 120fps but that is all we know for now.

At the time this article is being written, Apple has not made any official statements regarding the report.
