Bengaluru. Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker K R Ramesh Kumar on Thursday resigned from the Independent MLA R. Two rebel MLA Ramesh L.J. along with Shankar And Mahesh Kumathali was declared disqualified. The rebel legislators withdrew support to the HD Kumaraswamy government. Speaker has to decide on the resignation of rebel Congress MLAs and JD (S) MLAs.
Kumar said – "I will use my discretion to reach a decision in this matter so that the trust that has been shown by me by the Supreme Court remains." The deadline for the rebel legislators coming to me has ended. Law is equal for all. Then they are laborers or the President of India.
Speaker said – the legislators had called, but they did not come

Earlier, a team of BJP leaders met the speaker on Wednesday. Its purpose was to discuss the finance bill, which is to be presented before July 31.
