new Delhi. The Right to Information Bill on Thursday was voted on Bill Bill in the Rajya Sabha. In which this bill has been approved. 117 against the proposal, 75 votes in the opposition. Just before the voting, though Congress has walked out of the House. Subsequently, the proposal to send Bill to the Select Committee in the House was rejected after voting. In the meantime, before the voting on the bill, there was a shock in the House.
The government had already assembled the necessary number of force for this bill, when it got support from many parties outside the NDA. Among these, TRS, BJD and PDP had announced support to the government on this bill. At the same time, YSR Congress also decided to support the government about the RTI amendment bill.
Prior to this, Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad said that we believe in the transparency of the chair, but how it brings 303 seats, the sample has been seen in the House today, similarly the BJP wins 303 seats.
Explain that, the government has argued against the bill's opposition that the constitutional framework has not been tampered with from the RTI bill, while the rights of the states have not been interfered. Amendments are being made to bring uniformity in salary. Through this, efforts will be made to bring uniformity even during the tenure. There will be no change in the rules of appointment of the information commissioners. The respective states have the right to appoint.
