More people should raise voice: Brian
Before on Wednesday Trinamool Congress MP Derek O'Brien supported the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (Amendment) Bill 2019 in the Rajya Sabha. He had said – more and more people should raise their voices in the sexual abuse cases against children. Children should also tell about the good touch.
Brian said – I want to convey to my heart that at the age of 13 I was sexually abused in bus in Kolkata. For years I have been silent. After a long time I told this to my parents. The new amendment bill provides for the death penalty for the culprits of sexual exploitation of children. We should also encourage the children to raise voice against such incidents.
