Lucknow. Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi will visit Eastern Uttar Pradesh to strengthen the Congress party's land. According to party sources, Priyanka will meet workers in all areas and take her feedback. Based on this feedback, the chairman will be appointed on the district level.
Party sources told that Priyanka is meeting select workers in Delhi to prepare the outline of the tour of Eastern UP. In this they are also talking about preparing a strategy for the party at the district level. In Delhi, a worker who returned with Priyanka told the news agency that she was keeping notes on all the suggestions in a form.
Attempts to unite workers
According to sources, Priyanka has already won for the state assembly elections in 2022. She wants to ensure the direct access of the workers to a new organization in the party organization. In fact, after the defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, it was revealed in the review meetings that more needs and coordination between leaders and workers was needed. With this in mind, Priyanka has prepared this strategy.
Priyanka was only on the feedback of workers
Sources reveal that after the murder of 10 people in Sonbhadra local leaders of the area contacted Priyanka. After this, Priyanka reached Varanasi and then went for Sonbhadra. However, while going to Sonbhadra, he was taken into custody only in the border of Mirzapur. Later he was kept in Chunar Guest House. Here he started protest demonstration. Later, the administration met Priyanka for the kin of those killed in the massacre. Meanwhile, Priyanka had also announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh each to the family of the deceased from the party fund.
Priyanka after Sonbhadra had reached Yogi
Yogi Sarkar too came into action immediately after Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi reached Sonbhadra. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself came forward and cracked the genocide right on the Congress. After returning to Priyanka, the Yogi reached Sonbhad on July 21 and met the victims. Not only this, the state government had earlier announced compensation of Rs 5 lakh to the relatives of the dead, which was later increased to Rs 18.50 lakh.
