University Grants Commission (UGC) has approved 346 colleges in the country to pursue studies of Bachelor and Master Vocational courses with graduation and post graduation. These courses will be done in such subjects, from which jobs are created in the market.
UGC has written a letter to the Universities, Higher Education Institutions and State Governments across the country to approve the education of these new vocational courses in the academic session 2019-20 under the National Skills Qualification Framework. This includes colleges of states like Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana etc.
The Vocational Course has been approved. They include Hospitality and Tourism, TV Program and News Production, Times for Happiness and Interpretation, Beauty and Wellness, Diploma at Hand Embroidery, Polymer and Coating Technology, Food Processing, Fashion Design and Embroidery, Organic Framing, Interior Design, Jewelery and Accessories Design, Retail Management, Information Technology and Software Development, Fashion Technologies Mr. include TV Fax Film Making and Animation, Intrprinyorship Diet and Nutrisian.
