Rs 8 lakh was in debt for the youth
This shocking case is of Jagatpuri area of â€‹â€‹East Delhi. Disturbed by the call of credit card holders, the husband and wife tried to commit suicide by jumping from the fourth floor with a 5-year-old daughter. During this, Suresh (34) died on the spot while wife Manjeet Kaur and daughter Tanya were admitted to a nearby hospital in critical condition. This incident has spread sensation in the area. Police have registered a case of attempt to suicide in this case.
Leap into daughter-in-arms with a four-storey building
DCP Meghna Yadav said that Suresh was in tension about the credit card arrears. His family lived on the ground floor of a four-storey building and the youth was employed in a private company of Gurujram. After the consciousness came to the hospital, the wife gave the statement to the police, "Suresh had taken a credit card of several banks and owed Rs 8 lakh. Therefore, the employees of the bank used to call many times during the day, Suresh was very much concerned about this.
Child survivors, hospitalized treatment in scooter seat
They did not get help from family and friends-relatives, but they thought of committing suicide. Manjeet Kaur says, 'My husband used to say that death is better than daily tension.' They had jumped from the four-storey building around 3.30 am on Monday. The wife said, 'My husband jumped the baby in his arms and after that I also jumped.' The people around came out to hear the loud voice, they saw that the three were lying with blood. The child had fallen on the scooter seat standing because of which she was saved. But Suresh died on the spot.
