Eligibility criteria for appearing in bank exams:
ïƒ˜ Graduation in any discipline with knowledge of 1 local language.
ïƒ˜ At least a certificate/diploma in computer operations/language from an Institute.
ïƒ˜ Age limit is 20-30 years (+5 for SC/ST, +3 for OBC, +10 for disabled).
Bank Exams are generally done in three stages, i.e.,
1. Phase 1 exam or Pre Exam is a Computer Based Exam of 1 Hour, containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks, comprising 3 sections, i.e., English, General Intelligence &Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude (20 minutes given for each section).
2. Phase 2 exam or Mains Exam is also a Computer Based Exam of 3 hours, containing 155 questions carrying 200 marks comprising 4 sections, i.e., Reasoning & Computers, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and English (Specific time for each section).
3. Phase 3 is the Group Discussion and Interview process (For PO and Related Posts)
ïƒ˜ Shortlisting of candidates is done at each stage â€“ Pre, Main and Interview.
ïƒ˜ Final merit list is prepared on the basis of marks in Mains and Interview (weightage: 80% Written Test & 20% Interview).
ïƒ˜ No sectional Cutoff.
ïƒ˜ Negative marking of 1/4th marks for every wrong ans.
