The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 will have two features found on the Apple Watch Series 4
Some cosmetic changes have been made to the sequel, including a new look for the back of the watch. In addition, the round back button is now oval and a red ring around the power button differentiates the LTE version from the Wi-Fi model. If the screen hasn’t been changed from the original Galaxy Watch Active, the sequel will feature a 1.1-inch AMOLED display with a circular resolution of 360 x 360.Â

Another feature that Samsung is taking from the Apple Watch is the latter’s fall detection system. When a person wearing the Apple Watch has a hard fall, it will “tap” his wrist, sound an alarm and display an alert. The user can contact emergency services or dismiss the alarm. But if the watch doesn’t detect any motion from the wearer, it will automatically call emergency services and send a text message to the person’s emergency contacts with his location. It isn’t certain that the fall detection on the Galaxy Watch Active 2 will work exactly like the one on the Apple Watch.
