  1. My Dad has been doing TM for over 30 years. He decided to do it when he got a payout from work. It did change his life. He went from an angry man to the calmest man I know. BUT….what I don’t understand is why is it so expensive to do if it is such a simple thing, and why are all the centres in elite suburbs. Don’t we need this more in poorer suburbs where there is more suffering and more crime?? This should be taught in all schools, not just for rich kids.

  3. TM has changed my life ? I’ve struggled with clinical depression and GAD my entire adult life and this is the only thing that has ever given me peace. I had tried so many things to help with this (drugs, other types of meditation, alcohol, yoga) nothing has impacted me as profoundly as TM. After my first time practicing the technique I felt like I had become a new person. It’s worth every penny. I’m current 24 years old and am so happy I found TM. Your thoughts are not your enemy. You don’t always have to numb yourself to escape. We just need to heal and TM is the only thing I’ve come across that helps you heal from within.   4. I practice TM, 20 minutes, twice a day, and it's incredibly helpful for me. I feel calm, focused, and happy. Also I have much more energy and I'm not prone to anger. I look forward to it each day. It's like a calming bath for the mind. Definitely, read this man's book about it. I couldn't put it down. The cost of learning TM is worth every penny and there's aid for those in need. Once you learn it you have lifetime support from the most wonderful people at TM Centers including retreats, further education, social events, and more. Lastly, I've tried over 4 different types of meditation over the years and TM is by far the most effective, natural, and easiest one for me. Just a sincere comment from a passionate computer student living in the U.S.A.

  5. I'm starting to practice TM but my mind still overthink during the meditation and I feel like a weight in my chest. At the end I feel better, I feel more positive energy and less anxiety but… Did the transcendation happened? How do I know?

I am completely baffled as to how they are charging people to learn this technique…in this chaotic world that we live in today they should be showing and sharing this FREELY everywhere to those who wished to learn.  The focus of on a more peaceful world and to help all of us to navigate getting there seems more money based.

  7. I took my TM training a month ago, and it's the best decision I've ever made for my physical, spiritual, and mental health. For those that are skepticaL I say, do research on TM and you will find that there are indeed multiple reputable clinical studies that have been done that document the authenticity and reliability of TM. For me, paying the fee to learn is justifiable. It's an investment in myself and will have far-reaching, life-long health benefits. I go to a gym for health and fitness reasons, and I don't feel they should give that away for free, either. TM is a non-profit organization through the David Lynch Foundation, and they do offer an income based fee schedule, so you owe it to yourself to at least check out a free lecture.

  8. I followed the link and found a teacher in my area. $960. Why is this not more accessible??? My Xanax prescription is infinitely cheaper. And if it can't be taught from a book, Mr. Roth, then why are you writing them? I was hopeful watching this video. Absolutely vanished.

  9. I am practicing this technique, which actually is not what people think meditation is like, now for 48 years. I started it in July 1970 and never missed a sitting, enjoying the silence inside of me – day by day in the morning and evening. It helped me to overcome all stresses and traumata of my life I had collected before before and to get along with all the requirements and all diseases of my life since then.

    If we introduce this mental technique, which is so soft and easy to practice, into all schools, universities, hospitals, armies, police forces and other state institutions we would have peace, justice, fullfilment, progress on all levels of society and peace (no more tensions and wars) between all countries within a few years…
