new Delhi: The sports world has welcomed the central government's decision to remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Former Indian cricketer and BJP MP Gautam Gambhir congratulated the country for this.
Gambhir wrote on Twitter, "We did what no one could do, we hoisted the tricolor in Kashmir too." Congratulations India, congratulations Kashmir.
Describing this as a historical step, Suresh Raina said, "It is a historic step to remove Article 370. The time to come will be calm and more inclusive."
Former cricketer Kaif wrote, "There is more inclusion here now, peace and tranquility there."
Former Indian captain Anjum Chopra wrote on Twitter: "The removal of Article 370 is a right and a strong move.
Veteran wrestler Bajrang Punia said, "We congratulate the government for this bold step, it was in the interest of the whole country, including Jammu and Kashmir."
