new Delhi. Congress Working President Sonia Gandhi on Thursday asked party workers to fight the government in the streets. In the meeting of Congress general secretaries, state in-charge, Sonia said that just being active and aggressive on social media is not enough.

Sonia Gandhi gave a message to the party leaders and activists – it is very important that you reach out directly to the people and fight for their problems. However, the party still needs to do a better job on social media.

"Gandhi and Patel's messages being misused"

In this meeting, the interim president of Congress fiercely targeted the Modi government on the issue of falling economy, revenge politics and voice suppression. Without naming the BJP, he accused the party of using the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Patel and Ambedkar and using the true messages of these people to fulfill its devious motive.
